Gloria Steinem Hosts Fundraiser to Benefit Pediatric Cancer Research

On Wednesday, March 15, join the South Florida community in honoring Margaux and all victims of Ewing's sarcoma at the Margaux's Miracle Foundation (MMF) annual fundraising luncheon.
Margaux Grossman was a positive, courageous and kind person, even during her battle with Ewing's Sarcoma that took her life at the age of 15.

Grossman never complained, even during the most painful stages of her deadly battle with Ewing's sarcoma, a rare bone cancer that strikes mostly children. Her courage, positive attitude, and kindness left a lasting impression on her friends and family, who formed "Margaux's Miracle Foundation" one month after her death at the age of 15. Margaux's Miracle is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that lives on in her name, dedicated to preserving her spirit through acts of service to the community and raising funds for cancer research�at�Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
Now, in memory of her name, her father, Stuart Grossman, and aunt, Rockie Ruttenburg, carry her legacy through Margaux's Miracle Foundation, a nonprofit that services the community and collects funds for pediatric cancer research. To honor Margaux, the organization will put on its annual luncheon on March 15 at Jungle Island. In addition, renowned�Gloria Steinem, political and feminist activist, will continue the legacy of the recent Women's March as the keynote speaker.
MMF's Woman of the Year�Gloria Steinem, feminist activist and author of "My Life on the Road," will present at the event as the keynote speaker held at Jungle Island on Wednesday, March 15, 2017. All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the Margaux Renee Grossman Research Fund at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
The event will be held at 11:30 a.m. on March 15 at The Treetop Ballroom at Jungle Island, 1111 Parrot Jungle Trail Miami, Florida 33132. Tickets start at $150.
