Milk at the Music Hall in Portsmouth

EDGE READ TIME: 2 MIN.

The month kicks off with new Academy Award host Hugh Jackman playing opposite fellow Aussie Nicole Kidman in Australia, Baz Lurhman's valentine to their home country.

From there, we feature Sally Hawkins' star turn in Mike Leigh's film, Happy Go Lucky, which debuted here at Telluride by the Sea. In the midst of this film's run, we pause for the Met @The Music Hall February entry, Lucia di Lammermoor - Mary Zimmerman's hit production, staged as a Victorian ghost story.

Talk about star turns, Milk is up next and Sean Penn portrays the first openly gay man voted into public office in America who expanded what the term human rights means.
