Club Skirts and Tito's Vodka Launch $10,000 Fundraising Campaign for NCLR

Club Skirts and Tito's Vodka joined forces at this year's Dinah by donating a $10,000 matching grant to the National Center For Lesbian Rights (NCLR).

In addition to the pool parties, phenomenal concerts and raging DJ sets, this year's Dinah had a decidedly activist undertone.

The Dinah hosted a 'Party With A Purpose,' Sunday, April 2, featuring an impassioned 'call to action' from both Kate Kendall, the Executive Director of the National Center for Lesbian Rights (NCLR), and Dinah owner, Mariah Hanson, ending the party with a positive message to engage, be proactive and inspire change.

"There is no better watchdog for our rights than NCLR," said Mariah Hanson, founder and producer of The Dinah, "and we definitely upped the ante this year to make a huge statement at The Dinah."

Dinah attendees were invited to join the endeavor throughout the weekend and "party with a purpose" by helping match this $10,000 grant and reach the $20,000 goal.

"This was the first time we had a philanthropic presence at Dinah and the response was so rewarding," commented Elizabeth Lanyon, Individual Giving Manager at NCLR. "We know this is just the beginning, and that our relationship to Dinah will bring our community together and give back and continue to provide a space for our community to celebrate with a purpose."

While The Dinah 2017 is now over, the fundraising continues until May 10, 2017, giving an opportunity for us all to continue to bring our community together and give back!
