Adamandeve.com Asks: How Often Do You Clean Your Sex Toy?

Adamandeve.com, America's most trusted source for adult products, is back this month with new results from its annual sex survey. This time, the company asked over 1,000 adults how often they clean their sex toys, and the results may shock you!

Of those polled, 70 percent of the women and 57 percent of the men said they clean their sex toys after every use, while 19 percent of the women and 36 percent of the men said they never cleaned their sex toys. And 11 percent of the women and 7 percent of the men admitted they clean their toys every few uses.

"Sex toy usage can be a fun, fulfilling part of one's sexual repertoire," says adamandeve.com sexpert Dr. Kat Van Kirk. "But to make the most out of your toys, help them last longer and avoid risk of infection, you should clean your toys before and after each use, and when you are transferring between back and front door play. Most toys include cleaning instructions, and there are special sex toy cleansers available as well."

The web-based survey, conducted by an independent third party survey company, of over 1,000 American adults age 18 and up, was sponsored by Adam & Eve to study sexual preferences and practices.
