Kevin Hart: What Now?

Michael Cox READ TIME: 2 MIN.

Who will win the Oscar for Best Picture this year? Will it be "Moonlight," "Fences" or "Hidden Figures," and more importantly, why the fuck wasn't "Kevin Hart: What Now?" nominated?

If you need a break from historical significance, breathtaking performances, and heartbreaking social commentary, and just wanna laugh your effing ass off, choose the latter.

Like in his other concert movies, "Let Me Explain," "Seriously Funny," "Laugh at My Pain" and "I'm a Grown Up Little Man," Hart performs his stand-up comedy for an at-capacity audience. This time he returned to his hometown of Philadelphia at Lincoln Financial Field.

But this record-setting show marks the first time a comedian has ever performed to an at-capacity football stadium, not to mention the fact that this little, 5' 4" comic kept 50,000 people rolling in the aisles for over an hour.

Because his comedy comes from a real place, Hart gives us an up close and personal look at his home life in this record-setting show, including the raccoon who lurks outside his house acting like a gangster and grabbing his dick.

And Hart lets it all out - from his private school educated kids to the old school antics of his father who ran over his wheelchair-bound girlfriend. But Hart also pulls a lot of shit out of his ass, like the time he had to use a public bathroom at the airport because he drank his lady's coffee. (In this section, we watch Hart sitting on a giant toilet that fills the stage.)

In addition to the show, Hart and his good friend Tim Story spoof Hollywood action blockbusters in a "spy intro" to the concert. "The Equalizer" gets leveled and James Bond gets gold-fingered. This warm-up to the performance lambastes everything from French cuisine to good ol' Denzel and features some of Hart's talented friends, including Halle Berry, Don Cheadle, David Meunier and Ed Helms.

This Blu-ray combo pack also includes over 30 minutes of bonus content, like a gag reel, behind-the-scenes featurettes and an alternate opening featuring Chris Rock.
