Only in Florida: Wife Allegedly Attacks Husband After Finding His Dildo
READ TIME: 1 MIN.
A Florida woman was arrested last Wednesday after discovering her husband's dildo during a moving trip, according to local police.
According to court records obtained by The Smoking Gun, Chao Gao, 48, and her husband Joshua Sinclair, were driving to their new home in Sarasota, Fla. when Gao told Sinclair she found his sex toy.
In a police statement obtained by The Smoking Gun, Sinclair said his wife became mad when she learned from him that "a dildo she found was actually for me to use."
An argument between the couple, who have been married for just over a year, ensued and allegedly turned violent. Sinclair claims Gao, who was driving at the time of the incident, began to "beat and slap and pinch my face with her hand repeatedly" for a half-hour. Sinclair said the attack ended when they arrived to their new home.
A officer from a Manatee County Sheriff's office arrived to the home after receiving a 9-1-1 call and reportedly found Sinclair with "injuries of bruising and scratching" to "the victim's right eye, lip, nose, and forehead." Gao, who operates a daycare in Sarasota, "had no signs of injuries," a probable cause affidavit obtained by The Smoking Gun reads.
Gao was arrested on a misdemeanor domestic battery count. She was released from custody on Feb. 11 and is scheduled for arraignment on March 15, The Smoking Gun reports.
