Out Comic Billy Eichner Upset Over Burger King Ad

You may recognize Billy Eichner as the guy who runs around with celebrities and screams at pedestrians on the streets of New York when they don't agree with his views on pop culture on his show "Billy on the Street." But you may now know the out comedian as the guy who is calling out a Burger King ad for allegedly ripping off his signature show.

The 38-year-old actor, who has appeared on "Parks and Recreation," tweeted on Oct. 12 that he is not happy over Burger King's new ad that features a man yelling at kids on the street, asking them questions about chicken nuggets in a very undeniable Eichner way.

"Please tweet @BurgerKing & tell them to stop stealing from #BillyOntheStreet. Then I'm going over there & I'm gonna FLAME BROIL HIS DICK," Eichner tweeted to his 18,300 followers.

According to the AV Club, the comedian's fans flooded Burger King's Twitter account, outraged over the commercial. Even Eichner's celebrity friends called out the fast food chain.

"Yo @BurgerKing, stop stealing from the hilarious @billyeichner and stick to what you're good at: giving me diarrhea," Seth Rogen wrote.

"Hey @burgerking, you were stupid if you think hiring some random actor to rip off @billyeichner was going to work. I WAS AVAILABLE!!!" comedian Michael Ian Black tweeted.

"Shame on @BurgerKing for ripping off @billyeichner. Also, way to dodge how you let the guy from Digital Underground fuck in your bathroom," writer and comedian Jake Fogelnest wrote.

On Monday, Eichner got the attention of McDonalds, tweeting: "As annoying as it is to have Burger King rip me off, your tweets are incredible. I have the BEST fans on the planet!!! See u at McDonalds!"

McDonalds replied, saying, "@billyeichner Can't wait to see you! Oh, and bring Elena!"

Elena, an older sassy woman who doesn't put up with Eichner's BS, is a recurring character on "Billy on the Street."

Eichner had a big moment this year during the Emmy Awards when a skit was shown of him and host Seth Myers running around New York City, talking to random people, asking them questions about 2014 Emmy's.

Burger King has yet to respond to Eichner or comment on the claims.

"Billy on the Street" appears on Funny or Die and Fuse TV.
