Conservative Pundit: ENDA Should be Named After Jerry Sandusky

The American Family Association's anti-gay Bryan Fischer is back at it again, and boy, he is really upset over the Employment Nondiscrimination Act, which is likely to pass the Senate this week.

According to Right Wing Watch, Fischer spewed his typical anti-gay rhetoric on his radio show "Focal Point" to slam ENDA, suggesting that the proposed legislation should be renamed as "the Jerry Sandusky Pedophile Protection Act."

Not sure what that's even supposed to mean.

Anyway, unsurprisingly, he also took issue that the measure offers "no protection for heterosexuals."

"If you discriminate against aberrant, deviant sexual behavior, that's good," Fischer said. 'There's no protection here for heterosexuals -- they get no legal protections here in the law."

On Monday, the Senate pushed ENDA through its first huge procedural hurdle, signaling that the measure is likely to pass the chamber later this week. But even if it does, House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) will most likely not bring it up for a vote.

Jerry Sandusky, 68, Penn State's former assistant coach, was sentenced to 30 year last year in the child sexual abuse case at the college.
