The promoters of LesbianNightLife events are heading to New Hampshire on September 20-22 for the first ever Stargaze Women's Camp & Music Festival of Community and Culture. The festival will be held at Barrington Shores Campground in Barrington New Hampshire, on Swain's Lake.

"Come join us at Barrington Shores Campground this September for an eventful, jamming couple of days," said organizer Beth McGurr, who is a promoter who hosts Thursday Night Lady Love parties at Boston's Club Cafe. "Pack up your hiking boots, sneakers, yoga pants and dancing shoes. Throw your bike and any other toys you might have in the back of the care, and let's make some mayhem by the campfire."

The festival will feature live music, sports, parties, boating, hiking workshops, art installations and community. McGurr said that they want everyone to join in their community of artists and festive girls, and guests are encouraged to bring and share their own artwork, poetry or talent with the crowd.

This festival lineup has a diverse lineup of entertainers, including musical performances by Karne Grenier, Vava, The Degas, London Bridgez, Hudson, Lauren Bateman, Krista Baroni, Ivette Meow, Adrienne Mack-Davis, Baam Bada, Nancy Beth and Anjimile. In addition, there will be yoga, workshops, sports and dancing with Ms LadyJ and DJ LaNena. Artists will also be on site, including Rhonda Herget, Lauren Koger and Vita DeVoid.

"Whether you're down for a hippie 'love in,' a crazy and memorable weekend with the girls, or a spiritual and creative awakening, we'll have it all going on with lots of campground frolicking with the ladies," said McGurr.

Activities include a meet and greet, a tree lighting and opening ceremony, a Twisted Tea Dance, fitness classes, a live music stage, sports, yoga, movies after dark and their neon-fun color blast party. Pilates & BARRE CORE Cardio Circuit coach Korrie Wedel will be on site, as will yoga instructor Molly Hamill.

"Also more activities are in the works such ask live art, scavenger hunts, and a bike parade," said McGurr on the website. "Creative camping is strongly encouraged; in other words, decorate yourselves and your campsite. Pack some costumes, decorations, and bring your imagination and watch this festival take on a life of its own." Prizes will go to the best decorated campsite.

Passes for Stargaze 2013 are available for $160. The festival is tent camping; no cars will be allowed in the camping area, and no sleeping or camping is allowed in the parking lot. Site amenities include clean restrooms, showers, basketball and volleyball courts and a games and activities room.

RV passes are available, and a limited number of VIP cabins with a double bed and a set of bunk beds are available to sleep six. Campers must be 21 years old. Ecofriendly practices are encouraged, including carpooling.

The festival pass includes all weekend events, including camping, activities, concert and club events. Campers are advised to bring their own food, drinks and alcohol, as well as some dishes to share with others. Groups of six camping together can get a group discount of $99 per pass; all passes must be purchased on the same order. There is also a special camping area for single women, if they choose.

"If you find yourself in someone else's sleeping bag in the morning, no one's asking questions," said McGurr. "Remember: what happens in the campground, stays in the campground."
