Reichen...the Scent of a Man

JC Alvarez READ TIME: 2 MIN.

If there's anyone in the community's public eye who is secure in his appearance and is in pursuit of an aesthetic ideal, it's Reichen Lehmkuhl. "The A-List: New York" cast member/ brand marketer has established a career based on his good looks and enviable charm. Whether in calendars, runways, fashion or jewelry - it's all been of Lehmkuhl's own design. His well-crafted sensibility has inspired the handsome stud to share a little of the quality that attracts him most to another man; Introducing Reichen: The Fragrance.

In the midst of Hell's Kitchen, the sexy and sultry scent was introduced at an "invitation only" launch event at Industry Bar. The destination night spot, that rarely has an empty night on the calendar, was teaming with pheromones heightened to new elevations as Reichen sampled his new scent in a room filled with A-Listers (among them his cast mates from the hit reality show) and New York City notables. The fragrance isn't available to the mass market until September 26.

He took it upon himself to pass out gift boxes of the cologne to guests. Lehmkuhl had to stop for a minute to check out the packaging of the new scent. "I hadn't seen it in its proper package yet," he smiled as he undid the box. "This is how I want a guy to smell," Lehmkuhl revealed. The fragrance is clean, definitely sensual, and maintains its air of masculinity and strength - to note: it reflects in many ways the personality of its designer.

The Scent Takes Flight

"It consists of amber clove, bergamot, lemongrass and mint," Lehmkuhl described, " and was developed specifically using only all natural ingredients." The scent mixes in with the wearer's own body chemistry and shifts dramatically as it phases through the course of the day, but still remains supple and lustrous.

This new extension of Lehmkuhl's brand will also be geared with a purpose. A portion of the proceeds of the fragrance will benefit AmFar and the Gay and Lesbian Centers of New York City and Los Angeles.
