After an intense four weeks, the all-athletes edition of "Dancing with the Stars" aired its finale Monday night, crowning the Season 26 champion.

The finalists going into the final showdown were out Olympic figure skater Adam Rippon with his dance partner Jenna Johnson, controversial Olympic figure skater Tonya Harding with her partner Sasha Farber and football cornerback Josh Norman with his partner Sharna Burgess. As previously reported, Rippon, 28, was poised to win "DTWS" as he's topped nearly every round of the competition show.

So, which athlete took home the coveted Mirrorball Trophy?

Unsurprisingly, it was Rippon who was crowned the Season 26 champion!

"The Mirrorball has now taken on a new meaning, someone like me is accepted and I feel loved," he said before his final freestyle dance, People magazine reports.

After winning the show, Rippon, who also spent last month traveling around the country for the "Stars on Ice" tour, spoke with "Entertainment Tonight."

"It's crazy," he said. "Honestly, [I feel] exhausted. The Stars on Ice tour ended yesterday, and so we came here, and I said, 'You know what? I'm gonna put it all out there,' and I did."

Though their time on "DWTS" ended, Rippon and Johnson said they'd be friends "forever."

"We have our names on this plaque!" Johnson told "ET." "I think we're connected forever. He can't get rid of me."

"May the record show, Adam Rippon and Jenna Johnson's names are forever engraved, well-printed," Rippon added. "This has been such an incredible experience, just pushing yourself out of your comfort zone, and more than that, getting to meet somebody who I'm gonna be friends with for the rest of my life. It's just been such an incredible experience."

The skater also took to Instagram to share a photo of himself with Johnson posing with the Mirrorball Trophy, captioning the pic, "BALL CHAMPS!!"

Rippon made headlines during his stint on "DWTS," namely for his first performance where he did the cha-cha (and vogued!) to RuPaul's "Sissy That Walk." He also gained attention when he revealed some personal details about his dating life.
